Wilbur’s Grave

 

wilburs graveA location known mostly to the residents of Holcomb Valley and Big Bear in California, Wilbur’s grave is purported to be the grave site of Charles P. Wilbur (a miner from the late 1800’s).

His gravesite is visited by hikers who place an “offering” upon the miner’s grave. Adorned with pine cones, rocks, flags, and other items such as shoes, the grave site of Wilbur the miner is a quiet spot in the beautiful surrounding wilderness.

Some paranormal investigators have reported claims of phantom footsteps, captured EVPs, and have even seen the apparition of the miner near the grave.
